Noriaki Sugiyama (the voice actor of England in Hetalia) has the most gorgeous voice. It sounds the way that Spring grass looks, or the way that freshly baked bread smells, but maybe somehow also richer than that. It's so expressive and amazing and just I wish that I could meet him and just TALK TO HIM TO HEAR HIM TALK BACK. Although I don't speak Japanese.
I think that it might be possible to fall in love with sounds, or music. Sometimes I just want to be absorbed by the timbre of a particular chord of the Cinematic Orchestra, or the sound of an amazing voice or instrument. But it might just be the way that I suppose everyone just wants to be beautiful and part of something beautiful. That's one of the things that I love the most about being able to play a musical instrument, sing in a choir or even, I don't know, bake some delicious food. It makes me feel like I'm contributing something worthwhile to the cosmos, if only in the most fleeting and banal way possible.
But it's late and I'm rambling so goodnight. I'm off to think about 'The Arrival of Birds' a bit more.
